Sanitation & Hygiene Infrastructure for Residents and the Public

The Eshaan Community Sanitation Infrastructure Initiative forms part of Project Eshaan – School & Community Sanitation Infrastructure, implemented by Shree Gaurangas Foundation Trust.

The initiative focuses on strengthening sanitation access, improving hygiene infrastructure, and supporting dignity-centred facilities in community environments where residential occupants and public visitors share common spaces.

The Global Shree Gaurangas Foundation Trust supports the ISKCON Community Sanitation Infrastructure Project in Palghar District, Maharashtra, strengthening hygiene infrastructure and sanitation accessibility in community environments.

The facility accommodates brahmachari residents while also receiving regular participation from the general public, volunteers, and visiting community members.
Community spaces that host residents and visitors require adequate sanitation infrastructure to maintain hygiene standards and ensure dignified facilities for all.

This initiative is implemented under The Eshaan Community Sanitation Infrastructure Initiative, a grassroots sanitation program designed to improve public hygiene facilities, toilet infrastructure, and sanitation access in community and institutional environments.The project contributes to strengthening sanitation infrastructure in Palghar District, a region with significant tribal populations and areas governed under Scheduled Area provisions and the Panchayats (Extension to Scheduled Areas) Act (PESA), 1996.

Initiative Support

The Eshaan Community Sanitation Infrastructure Initiative is supported through the generosity of Her Grace Kirtida Sundari Devi Dasi (Vrindavan), disciple of His Holiness Srila Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Goswami Maharaja (Dr. T.D. Singh) and His Holiness Nava Yogendra Swami Maharaj.

Her support enables the development of sanitation facilities that improve hygiene access for residents, visitors, and community participants, including those accessing temple and community spaces.
